At Legacy Animal Sanctuary, we are dedicated to providing a forever, loving home to any animal in need including livestock. We focus on middle to senior age Giant Breed dogs, and also rescue feral cats and adopt them out once socialized. Our sanctuary is a safe haven for animals who have been neglected, abused, or abandoned. We believe that all animals deserve a second chance at life, and we work tirelessly to ensure that they receive the love, care, and attention they need.

At Legacy Animal Sanctuary, our approach to animal rescue is simple. We provide a safe haven and loving care for all of our animals, with a focus on middle to senior age Giant Breed dogs. We work tirelessly to rehabilitate and socialize any animal in our care, no matter how difficult the case may be.

Our founder, Dana Barger, is a lifelong animal lover, and has dedicated her life to providing a safe haven and loving care for animals in need. With the help of our dedicated team of volunteers and supporters, we have rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of animals, and continue to work tirelessly to ensure that every animal in our care receives the love, care, and attention they need to thrive.
